Thon Hotel Oslofjord

I enjoyed the breakfast selection at the hotel. The variety was great, and I particularly appreciated the fresh-pressed juice, which was a delightful start to my mornings.

The hotel location is right next to the Storsenter, probably the largest mall in Norway. Sandvika station is a relatively easy walk away. The rooms are spacious and well furnished and equipped. We didn't have dinner there but if the breakfasts are anything to go by, the food will be of excellent quality and well presented (breakfast has an amazing range of options in a help yourself buffet style). The hotel even kindly printed out my return flight boarding passes.

The breakfast really is amazing, they offer a huge variety of food which we enjoyed sampling. The hotel is next to a shopping centre, which was handy for sorting out some things. It is also very handy to the highway, although roadworks meant we chose a suburban route instead, and those roads are very confusing. The room is simple, and what we expected. There are fast EV chargers close to the hotel, and the short term parking at the entrance to the hotel was handy for dropping off and picking up bags.

The bed was spacious and extremely comfortable, with clean linens and towels. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was both plentiful and delicious. The value for money was excellent — we were thoroughly satisfied with our stay.

The breakfast was really good and the location is excelent. You have very good connections using public transport anywhere in Oslo.
